Time for another update! We know have a water-tank on the roof, some more windows and an entire second floor...!
I've taken to rendering them in wire-frame mode so you can see how the topology is flowing:
the guttering took a while to position, but thanks to Max's line and render thickness option, getting the curves in the right places was just a case of refining and changing the point type to 'smooth'.
gotta' love the water closet!
It's definitely coming along, soon it'll be time to start adding textures... I can almost taste them! lol

Does anyone actually read these things?
I got a job in an animation studio back in December. it was a really difficult time leading up to the interview and there was going to be a major change in my life one way or another, I feel like I got lucky, but at the same time all the years of work seemed to finally pay off.
So happy right now :)
Destiny Environment part 1

Ol' Rowdy's Inn (v.06)
OK Folks,
Still a few things to work out but after making a huge push on this I have made some very significant development. The addition of foliage really makes this scene come to life and was really a pleasure to make.
There's still a few things to do, being the perfectionist I am I have to add more dirt/grime to the roof and walls, and everything looks very straight edged, so some sagging of the wooden beams will help a lot too.
These screenshots are nearly exact matches to the concept model photos as tuskarsart (https://www.deviantart.com/tuskarsart)'s, I wanted to see how similar they would look.
I'll be uploading it to Sketchfab once I'm finished and will post a link

Yeha! The water-tank and -closet I added to give it a more steamy/industriallised look, witch matches the Iron Kingdoms more than a traditional Fantasy tavern.
